FAMILY EDUCATIONAL RIGHTS AND PRIVACY ACT The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974, also known as FERPA or the Buckley Amendment, is a federal law designed to protect the privacy of a student’s educational records, including financial and other non-directory information. These records are private and confidential and any information in these records may only be released with consent from the student or under certain provisions in the law. Agreement: By virtue of authorizing you as a Proxy, the student has granted you access to view specified educational and other records. Please be aware that these records are still covered under federal privacy laws and are for your personal use and information only. Any information or student records you can view may not be disseminated or shared with anyone else. The release of this information to other entities is the responsibility of the student. Control of the authorized Proxy access lies solely with the student. They may revoke or modify information access at their discretion. Any questions or concerns should be directed to the student. All proxies are required to sign this agreement for each of the delegators that delegated them access to their data confirming their understanding and acceptance of this policy. You sign the agreement by accepting the terms and conditions, entering your Security Key and your email address.
